HDC's guidelines on open disclosure

The Health and Disability Commissioner recently revised his "Guidelines on Open Disclosure Policies. The guidelines encourage open disclosure about adverse events by health care and disability service providers and reflect developments in this area. The guidelines are available on the HDC's website at http://www.hdc.org.nz/files/hdc/Guidance-on-Open-Disclosure-Policies-Dec-09.pdf 

Annual Fora

There will be two Fora in 2010 - in Auckland on Friday 25 June and in Dunedin on Friday 30 July.  Details will be available closer to those dates.
